Derek Viger, the administrator of Augusta Insider, is a father of two, a husband, and a native Mainer. Currently, he is pursuing a masters in Education Policy at USM’s Muskie School. Politics, history, and education have always been of interest, but especially lately. He also operates his own personal blog, The Maine View, which more often reflects his opinion and viewpoints.

Rob Tornoe, our editorial cartoonist, is familiar to Mainers from the PolitickerME.com site. Tornoe is an award-winning cartoonist and designer for Cagle Cartoons. Besides PolitickerME.com, Rob also provides cartoons to the Press of Atlantic City and Editor & Publisher. Rob’s cartoons will be appearing here every other Tuesday, for the most part.
