Hashtags

We have created a number of hashtags for discussion of Maine politics, the first being the obvious:

#mepolitics - We will not label all of our posts with this tag, but a goodly number of them, and we highly encourage others to use it as well.

#megovt – For general policy, governmental talk.

#megov – For all news and talk about the next gubernatorial election.

#meleg – For all news and talk about the state Legislature.

#mecong - For all news and talk about the Maine Congressional Delegation and Maine Congressional elections, House & Senate.

#metaxes – For all news and talk related to taxes in Maine, including L.D. 1495, the tax reform package, and the two tax initiatives on the ballot in November 2009.

#memarriage – For all news and talk related to marriage in Maine, especially the vote on LD 1020, the marriage bill.

#melobsterwars - For all news and talk related to conflicts between lobstermen in coastal Maine.
